It is possible to texture the material directly on the bases and then bake the model, including the MDF wood bases, in the oven at 150ºC for 15 minutes. The MDF wood bases will not burn and will subtly emit a scent reminiscent of toast.\u003cbr\u003eIn the case of epoxy putties, there are different techniques to achieve similar results. The advantage with these materials is that they do not need to be baked but can be textured directly.\u003cbr\u003eWhen using Green Stuff, which is particularly sticky, it is advisable to moisten the surface of the rolling pin or the material with a little water before imprinting the texture.\u003cbr\u003eAlso, talcum powder, or even modeling petroleum jelly applied directly, can reduce the stickiness of the Green Stuff.\u003cbr\u003eOther epoxy putties, e.g., Milliput \/ Magic Sculpt \/ Aves Apoxie Sculpt modeling compounds, can also be used. However, these should not be moistened, as it unnecessarily complicates the work.
