By the time of the invasion of Russia in 1941, the panzergrenadiers had fitted their troop leaders' half-tracks with the standard anti-tank gun of the day - the 37mm PAK 36. By replacing the forward machine gun with this useful light gun, the panzergrenadier units could rely on a measure of fire support as they dashed across the battlefield, supported by their platoon's personnel carriers.

Although not the most powerful anti-tank weapon (its crews nicknamed it the 'door-knocker'), the PaK 36 was best used for fire support rather than anti-tank duties. Over 300 half-tracks were converted into Sd.Kfz 251/10 variants, seeing action in Russia and North Africa, as well as Northwest Europe. The D variant replaced the more complex multi-angled rear armor of the C variant with a single sloped surface, whilst the command variant retained the old, but still useful, 'door-knocker'.

Box contains one plastic vehicle.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0706/8699/8771/files/115308-sd_kfz-25110-ausf-d-36mm-pak-half-track-402012013-1.webp?v=1781190976
