These Initiates are the Black Dragons, who train under the guidance of the Dragon Knights, just as the Dragon Knights once learned from Amdûr. Although they have chosen a life of solitude and only ever take a handful of warriors into their retinue, when the call of war thunders through Rhûn, the Dragon Knights answer – and their skill is so great that they can turn the tide of battle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo one can still say exactly how the Easterlings came to worship the Dark Lord, but they do, and on countless battlefields, they willingly lay down their lives for him. The most zealous among these loyal followers are the War Priests, who whip those near them into a battle frenzy, in which warriors ignore wounds or pierce the enemy with overwhelming force.
