Steam still streaming from their bodies, these winged aelves launch themselves skyward, using their acceleration to hurl cruel barbed javelins with great force. These spiked spears fly so fast they can pierce a mounted warrior and their mount alike, still possessing enough momentum to embed themselves deep into the ground thereafter. Should a suitably alluring target present itself, however, the Heartrenders will abandon ranged attacks and plunge straight into the fray.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 5 Khinerai Heartrenders. Soaring through the air on huge, spiked wings, they are distinguishable from their Lifetaker sisters by their face-covering horned helmets. Their scant armour is designed to facilitate aerial manoeuvres rather than provide protection – thick plate would drag them down and be detrimental to these high-speed killers. Each Heartrender clutches a long barbed javelin in one hand and a heartpiercer shield in the other; these shields are aptly named for their long, sharp spikes. You can build a Shryke, the unit leader – she is notable for her unique veil helm and loincloth. Each model is attached to its base via a sculpted ruin, allowing for their dynamic, flying poses.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Khinerai Heartrenders come as 61 components and are supplied with 5 Citadel 40mm Round bases.
