Agents of the Empire – Inquisition & Assassins

Agents of the Empire – Inquisition, Assassins and Imperial Special Forces

Agents of the Imperium unite the Imperium's most secretive, specialized, and dangerous units into a single faction. These elite agents operate in the shadows of humanity, carrying out missions that even Space Marines or Astra Militarum cannot undertake. Whether Inquisitors, licensed privateers, Imperial assassins, or members of clandestine organizations, these units are versatile and lend tactical precision and narrative depth to virtually any army.

At the heart of the game are the Inquisitors , who dominate the battlefield with their psychic powers, equipment, and followers. They can reinforce squads, launch psychic attacks, or influence missions through powerful special rules. They are complemented by iconic characters such as Rogue Traders, Navigators, Jokaero Weaponsmiths, and other unique agents who enrich any army with exceptional abilities.

The Assassins of the Officio Assassinorum are particularly feared: Vindicare, Eversor, Culexus, and Callidus variants specialize in eliminating key targets. Each of these units has a clearly defined role – from anti-psionic specialists hunting psykers to silent snipers capable of eliminating heroes with a single shot. Their extreme mobility and special rules put immense pressure on enemy strategies.

Agents of the Imperium are excellent allies in Imperial armies such as the Adeptus Astartes, Astra Militarum, Adepta Sororitas, or Adeptus Mechanicus. They fill gaps in army compositions, offer unique buffs, and open up tactical options unavailable in any core faction. Their rules mechanics often revolve around precise positioning, mission focus, and targeted disruption of key enemy models.

Hobbyists also benefit from the diverse designs: from grim Inquisition armor and elegant agent outfits to biomechanical assassins. The models are highly detailed and perfectly suited for individual painting schemes and narrative conversions. Whether as a single support unit or a themed Inquisition force, the Agents of the Imperium offer enormous variety for collecting, playing, and storytelling.
